HALIFAX — Arriving in a white jet, North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue flew into Halifax County bearing a large gift for the entire Roanoke Valley. She wasn’t on a sleigh pulled by reindeer, but her announcement was as welcome as a Christmas gift to an area looking for more jobs.
