Diy Invitations And Announcements- Why Would You?

If you had the time, patience, funds and know-how, you could print your own invitations or announcements, but why would you?! First you would have to come up with a design and then set it up on your computer so it fit just right. If you cut and pasted a design from somewhere else, then it wouldn’t be original anyway, not to mention the legal ramifications. Of course, you would then have to do the same thing for the inside or back of the invitations or announcements, coming up with a snappy verse and personalization.

Next you would need to buy an expensive four color ink printer cartridge and fancy glossy card stock. Not all card stock feeds smoothly or prints nicely on all printers. By the way, I’m sure you’ve noticed that those ink cartridges are way expensive too! The printing process is slow and painful and depending on the quantity, you would probably have to buy more supplies than you really needed, or make several trips back to the office supply store when you unexpectedly ran out! And I won’t even mention the time involved. Better allow as much as one hour per 25 cards just for printing them!

Even if you could get the paper to print nicely, you would then need to score each sheet so you could fold it perfectly down the center. Or even if just a flat panel was your plan, you would have to accurately cut each one out. So you use a paper cutter. That only means you can mess up several in one chop! And don’t forget the envelopes! You would have to buy envelopes that were just the right size and just the right color to match.

Invitations require many details that must not be overlooked. You wouldn’t want to send out invitations with the what and where but forget the when, for example. It would certainly be easy enough to leave out a very important detail like what exact day the party was planned for on birthday invitations or what time to appear on baptism invitations or christening invitations. And what if you forgot to mention who the shower was for on baby shower invitations? Better to work from a design template that will take you through the necessary specifics.

If you somehow did manage to create the perfect baby announcements yourself, do you really want to repeat the process each year for birthday invitations? And what about graduation invitations and baby shower invitations? I recommend you start now creating your perfect work of art by partnering with professionals in this line of business.

An online site called CardsDirect.com has a fantastic selection of invitations and announcements for all occasions and will print them exactly to your specifications. You select a design or create your own with an easy online ordering process. Add a photograph if you want and all the personalization and details of the big event. All you then have to do is address the matching envelopes.

From birthday invitations to birth announcements, the do-it-yourself route sounds like fun but all that effort may not yield the creative results you had hoped for. At that point you would then have to regroup and buy them elsewhere after having wasted much time and money. And let’s face it, the birth date isn’t going to change just because you took too long to get your act together!

Again, I ask, why would you put yourself through all this when you can buy beautiful personalized and custom imprinted invitations printed exactly to your specifications with your own verse and personalization included, and with lovely envelopes to match! And if you want a special picture or logo on it, no problem, just upload the image and it will be taken care of just like that (envision snapping fingers).

Think about it and then place your order at www.CardsDirect.com. Let CardsDirect take responsibility for your invitations and announcements so you can better spend your time elsewhere, like planning the refreshments!
