I am planning a Mardi Gras themed graduation party. Any ideas for a way to make sure everyone has a good time?

For invitations, I will be sending out personilized masks/top hats. I will also have “party favors” such as Mardi Gras beads, tamborines and glow necklaces. I am also on a tight budget so ideas for inexpensive food/refreshments would also be appreciated.
You have to have a “King Cake” – the one with purple, green and gold sugars and a small plastic baby hidden inside for a prize. You can get these at many bakeries and also on line.
You could serve “Po-boys” (basically sub sandwiches), dirty beans and rice, jambalaya, crawfish & taters and corn on the cob boil.
You need to have some good New Orleans jazz, blues, Cajun music. Have fun!
Karla covered most of what I was going to say, but also get some cheap plastic hurricane glasses – available at most warehouse type stores, or party stores. Whether or not you’re serving alcohol (and frankly, is it a Mardi Gras party if you aren’t?!), you can make fun punch drinks!!!
Beans and rice
Cornbread
Barbq Chicken
New Orleans Style Pralines. Creole Candy. It’s yummy
