I got my boyfriend an electric guitar as a graduation gift. Any creative ideas on how to really suprise him?

He’s been wanting one and talking about learning to play ever since we started dating two years ago. He knows I’ve gotten him something but doesn’t know what.
As an evil twist I gift wrapped it to make it all girly looking. Imagine pink giftwrap with cherries on it and pink bows glued everywhere.
I don’t want to just hand it to him and be like heres your gift! I want a good idea on how to really suprise him.
Stand in his room wearing the guitar…only the guitar.
make a really famous lead guitarist to give it for him
Uh. It wouldn’t be proper to tell.
Set it in the drivers seat of his car and wait for him to find it.
set clues that he needs to solve to get him closer to the guitar
get naked behind it,so u cant see any rude parts then get someone to take the photo,show it to him,then ask him if he likes the guitar!thats what i would do anyway!good luck
you should talk up your present like it’s something ridiculous and something he would NEVER want! act like you knitted him a whole wardrobe of sweaters or something crazy haha.
Get a lesson book and wrap it in pink too and tape it to the top an stick I thing that says From and then post a pic of yourself on it
Buy him some picks and put them in a small box and wrap it. Once he opens the box he’ll probably be confused on why he got guitar picks and then you can just take out his real present and hand it to him and say “I thought this would go nice with your first present”
you could answer the door playing it (but you would have to unwrap it) or you could tell him there’s something wrong with your car and when he comes outside to help, you can have it lying in the front seat or something tricky like that
pretend it’s a rockband or guitar hero controller and have trouble connecting it, say you think you broke the plag and ask him to look.
or if you can arrange it, go somewhere there’s a band playing, leave it up on stage and pretend to go steal it for him while they’re on break.
Give the guitar to me instead, and then tell him what you did, that will shock him. lol But seriously you don’t need much to suprise him if he is your average guy. We impress pretty easily, he will be more interested in the guitar itself than the process you went through to suprise him, I’m not saying he won’t appreciate the suprise, but generally speaking girls are more into the ‘process’ or the ‘effort’ that went into it, but guys just want the gift. You could ressurect Elvis and have him hand deliver it (if he still has hands that is) or you could just put it in a cardboard box, his reaction probably won’t be that much different, thats just how us guys are. He will like it either way. But the pink gift wrap sounds sufficient, as long as its not in the ’shape’ of a guitar looking object.
you take a date, formal date but you should not bring the guitar instead you put a pick inside his glass with whatever drinks he wants.
before the date will start you should ask the waiter who knows to play the guitar to play your favorite song when you start eating using the guitar you want to give.
then, when he notice the pick in the glass, you will now tell him that the guitar is for him and ask to continue the song.
isnt a crazy romantic way? but it works…
Put the guitar in a garbage bag and put it in the garbage and ask him to check the garbage on the pretense you tossed out something important…
just give it to him and let him open it. thats the custom and there’s nothing wrong with it. hope you got an amp for it if he doesnt have one.
you can wait til the day is nearly done so he is dying of anticipation. plus if you dont he could ditch you early to play with his new toy.
tell him to buy a distortion box for it when he opens it because it will change the whole experience of guitar playing for him.
don’t wrap it. instead bring him to a nice bar or restaurant where there is a good guitar player. ask the performer to play your song and call him up on stage afterwards. then, waiter brings out your gift , hands it to him as the performer asks everyone to sing a happy birthday to your boyfirend.
he’ll be dead embarrassed but i’m sure he’ll be happy deep within, and oh, definitely he’ll never forget this one.
the problem is, you need to do some pre-planing for this. good luck.
1-Take him to a dinner, get someone to play the guiter (serenade you and him) during the dinner. After the applause, tell him the guitar is your gift to him.
or
2-place it on his bed.
