   LAPD? I’d suggest automatic weaponry and advanced body armor.

   I hear it’s a jungle out there.

   1) Engraved “Cross” Pens

   2) Approved backup pistol and ankle holster for it

   3) Duty Gear bag (as I’m assuming the LAPD doesn’t have take home cars and officers have to take their gear out the car after each shift).

   You can go with the standard clip board( I reccomend a slim one) but the best gift I revieved for graduation was a St. Michael Pendant and chain. He is the patron saint of police officers. I am not overly religious but its is a nice thought having someone look over you…

   St. Michael’s Medal… patron Saint for Law Enforcement

   Something he can carry with him all of the time and something to watch over him and protect him.

   Anything given with Love, Support, and Pride in what he is doing.
